Jon led an excellent "Appreciation" activity. This lead to a wonderful moment when the teens were given an opportunity to appreciate God.
Each teen had a blank sheet taped to their back. Every one went around to write an appreciative comment on every one. After this was done, Jon pulled out a blank sheet for the kids to write down how they appreciated God. Here are some of the things they wrote to God(Tammy, Jon and I were so encouraged by these!):
"Thank you for loving me."
"thanx you for bringing me to this world. thanx you alot"
"Thanks for save, love me."
"Thank you for letting your son die for us. Thank you for loving us no matter what."
"I Love you! Can't wait to go up there and visit!"
