I'm not sure how this works if a prayer request hasn't been initiated by the person "in need" (or who I perceive to be in need) and we should probably talk about issues of confidentiality, but here goes.
One of Helen's best friends died very suddenly last Saturday after coming back from a camping trip. She didn't say a whole lot, but did say that she learned there's a lot of people who care for her. I have no idea really about what's going on in her head (or her classmates), but we can let the Spirit help us to pray for her, her school, and her friends' family.

[Confidentiality on this site is surely a concern. A rule I use is to have permission from the person(s) in question to share their issue or prayer request with other leaders at church. To ensure this site is "secure" for now, please don't let anyone other than leaders in EM know about this site. We should discuss alternatives if necessary.]
Destiny, who gave me permission to share, also knew this friend. In fact Derek To also knows this friend. They were all friends from their school in Richmond (Destiny used to attend that school).
Father,
May your Spirit's comfort be upon these youths in this time of loss. May we also be co-mourners with them in this difficult time. Amen.
